The Eddy Curry Line was originally established to put a spotlight on how truly anemic Curry’s overall fantasy line is. It can be used to help establish which players are among the best and worst, in terms of efficiency of production, for fantasy basketball. The standard: a player’s Curry Line ratio is his combined assists, steals, and blocks totals divided by his total turnovers – in order to qualify for the leaderboard, a player must have appeared in at least half of his team’s games and averaged at least 25 minutes of playing time.

Who do you think is in danger of skipping lots of games at the end of the season? Anyone beyond the typical “older stars on crappy teams?” Think I should be worried about Wade?
if wade stays 100 percent, i don’t think he’d allow himself to be shut down. in general, think about studs who are nicked up (or tend to get nicked up) and are on terrible teams. guys like kevin martin and caron butler come to mind. it’s tough though, because there are no gurantees – assuming some guys are going to get rested is as much of a gamble as assuming some won’t

Congrats on the new site! How many games will Yao manage this season? I have a funny feeling he’ll play 75+ for once but after he burnt me last season, should i continue to stay away?
thanks sherrm .. yao will probably play 75+ games at some point in his career, but nobody knows for sure when it will be. history tells us that he’s very likely to get hurt again this season, but i’m not going to do anything but tell you to follow your own gut on this one
After watching the thrilling Spurs/Lakers game last night, I couldn’t help but notice how good Manu looked. Is he one of the players you would target for a big second half Bus?
What about the likes of Josh Smith, Deron Williams, and Elton Brand, to name a few. Anyone in particular that you would advise managers to look out for because you are expecting huge things from them in the second half?

I think a worthy sidenote would be Jamario Moon. In turnover leagues, this guy is an end-of-the-bench stud. He’s only averaging 24:11 for the year. So, he just misses qualifying, but his ratio of 134:23 or 5.82 is just ridiculous.
