I’ve set up mock drafts that will take us through the weekend. Enjoy and thanks for your continued participation! I’ll update the ADP spreadsheet early next week and by then we’ll have plenty of data available to start breaking down positional, categorical, and team building strategies for the upcoming season. Mock #1 is done and you can find the pick-by-pick results here. Participants were told to assume h2h scoring. One participant “jay_00″ had issues with the draft applet and was largely auto-selected. Otherwise we had active participation from all members. Team results are posted below, and we’ll schedule another draft or three in the not-too-distant future.

The first mock drafts of the season have taken place or are taking place – at least the first that I’ve been aware of and/or participated in. In this early stage, mocks give us a good look at rising and falling player values – we can the early line on how drafters might eventually be dealing with players like Gilbert Arenas, Anthony Randolph, Shawn Marion, Troy Murphy, Elton Brand, Derrick Rose, Brook Lopez, Blake Griffin, etc.

I’m going to point you to two industry mocks that are finished (the first organized by Rotoworld, the other by Yahoo!) and two slow message-board mocks that are currently underway (here and here – I’m a participant in the first). What makes the message board drafts particulary useful is that each pick comes with analysis from the participant and there are extensive discussion threads underway for both.

The list below is the ADP for players from the two industry mocks, with 9-category roto being the assumed settings for both. I’ve designated players that stood out to me as poor values in red and good values in green.
