Pistons’ Stuckey cleared for exercise (AP)

Detroit Pistons guard Rodney Stuckey(notes) is carried out on a stretcher in the third quarter of an NBA basketball game against the Cleveland Cavaliers, Friday, March 5, 2010, in Cleveland. Stuckey collapsed into a trainer's arms on the bench Friday night during a game against the Cavaliers.

The Detroit Pistons say three doctors have cleared Rodney Stuckey for exercise after a heart evaluation. Stuckey collapsed on the bench during Friday's game at Cleveland and was taken away on a stretcher. He missed Sunday's game against Houston and will be out again Wednesday against Utah. Stuckey missed two games last season after experiencing dizziness during a game.

Pistons Team Report (Yahoo! Sports)

Rodney Stuckey gave everyone a big scare when he collapsed on the bench in Cleveland Friday but he's likely to return before the end of the season.

Thus far, all medical tests have yet to find anything abnormal with Stuckey, who missed his first game of the season Sunday against Houston. He's doubtful to play in Wednesday's home game against Utah but unless there is a change in his condition, he could be cleared to play as early as this week.

"We'll have a better feel for that in the next 48 hours, in regards to evaluating what the doctors say," head coach John Kuester said of Stuckey's status Sunday. "He's on the right path right now."
