Another day, another problem for the Warriors. Alas, this is one of those good ones.
For the second time this season, an emergency NBA Developmental League call-up is playing so well, he's forcing the Warriors to plan ahead far earlier than they had hoped.
Reggie Williams certainly looked AS IF he belonged with the big boys Monday night. He hit 10 of his 16 shots on the road against the playoff-contending Hornets and contributed 28 points to another of Golden State's improbable near-wins.
The 6-foot-6 swingman joined the Warriors on the eve of their just completed five-game trip. Despite knowing little about his teammates and even less about Don Nelson's system, he scored in double figures his first two games.

The Golden State Warriors say center Andris Biedrins will need to undergo surgery to repair a small tear of an abdominal muscle. Biedrins was examined Monday by a specialist in Philadelphia who confirmed that he had a sports hernia and the muscle tear. Biedrins will undergo surgery Tuesday. The prognosis for his recovery will be determined after the operation. (
